How important are sports on a college resume?
Q. How important are extracurricular activities and playing sports to getting into college? I was told that if you don't play a sport in high school, then you don't have much of a chance to getting into college.

A. You were told falsly. extra cirriculars are important on a college resume, sports are only one type of an extra cirricular. Without extra cirriculars, unless you are the smartest kid in your class of X in the United states...your application is much weaker. Admission deans LOVE kids who are involved outside of school. Sports, volunteering, plays, boyscouts, school newspaper, clubs...only a few examples of extra cirriculars. You don't need to play sports as I said before, those are only one kind of extra cirriculars.

What are some sports a total idiot can be good at playing?
Q. We make fun of dumb athletes, but most sports require some level of mental focus for the athlete to be good at it. But what are some sports for complete idiots? I think those strongman contests where they carry refrigerators and such is one contender. Maybe the 100-meter dash.

What race dominates more sports, considering every single professional and Olympic sport?
Q. We often hear from other homies or liberals that we dominate sports (African Americans) , but guys i had a long conversation last night which opened my eyes . Other than basketball,some positions in American football and some running events , what other sports do we dominate massively? There are so many sports, hundreds probably, how did this propaganda started? Aren't whites a minority worldwide, so how do they dominate all these sports and none talks about it?

What sports clubs can i join to socialize?
Q. I live inn wolverhampton but as i want to join the army, i've heard they like it if you are part of a team sport where you can stay fit and be a team member, and i was just wondering what sport places are there (in Willenhall/Wolverhampton/Bilston - England) where i can do sports such as: -Hockey -Basketball -Tennis -Football -Table tennis -Trampolining (Not places where you have to be a specialist as i am only a beginner with these sorts of sports) Also places that aren't that expensive.

I've met so many friends during my 3 years playing basketball and it's not expensive you just buy shoes and a ball and thats's about it :) Soccer is another good sport to join if it's available and swim team. A. Team sports improve cooperation and communication skills in a number of ways. First, you have to learn to work together in order to achieve a common goal. You are all trying to win, hopefully, so this is your common goal. If everyone on the team doesn't cooperate, then no one will be in sync, your plan won't work, and you will lose the game. In relation to communication, everyone on the team has to cooperate and this takes verbal and nonverbal expression of common goals, or communicating verbally and non verbally. Everyone on the team has to be on the same page and this cannot be accomplished unless there is a great deal of communication between every player on the team. What sports are good before joining a military branch?
Q. So you probably know from my questions, I want to be in the Marines. I use to play sports, football for 2 years. Then I quit. Should I sign up for football again? I wanna get in shape. Another sport I wanna try out is Karate. I never tried it but it looks really fun. But i dont know if its a sport. And wrestling, I hate it. Never liked it. So which do you think is bettar, Football or Karate?

A. Both would be good in physical conditioning. I would say the ideal would be karate with maybe cross-country or track with a good regiment of weight lifting. I imagine this would put you in perfect cardiovascular and strength condition, and karate would offer mental discipline and attentiveness.

What is the best sports website for a cellphone with little capacity?
Q. I have an el-cheapo cellphone that has internet access, but it can only load small webpages. I used to always use NBC Sports mobile webpage, but now when I try to go to it, I get "File too large". Same thing for CBS Sports website. Has anyone else in the same boat with me found a good mobile sports website that isn't a large file size? Right now I am using Yahoo's but it is not as good as NBC.
